Editing a race's map using a gpx file

I've created a bookmarklet giving you the ability to edit the race's map using a gpx file. No more needed to manually give every points to create a race!

Find it here with more explanations as well: http://jacqueminv.github.com/rkrace-bookmarklet/

Hope that helps

Valentin, this is phenomenal! I was trying to create a 5.7 mile trail race and it was impossible to get it all correct. Your bookmarklet worked like a champ! Thanks!

Hi Valentin,

the little box just states "reading from file..." but nothing ever happens. The gpx is rather small (200kb, ~600 trkpnts), so i don't think i'm too impatient.

I attached the file, maybe you could kindly check, wether there is a problem with the file itself, or if i'm just too stupid.

tia,

jens

You thought right Jens. Actually the Runkeeper crew apparently made an update to the race edition page and introduced a little bug that prevented the bookmarklet to work correctly.

I modified it to work around the bug, feel free to update the bookmarklet and try again. It should work, I tried with your gpx file.

Thanks for the feedback, enjoy!
