Runkeeper is part of ASICS: What does it mean for me?

In March 2016, Runkeeper was acquired by ASICS. This allows us to better pursue our mission of getting the whole world running by marrying the resources of a global running footwear and apparel brand with the innovative culture and skill set of a mobile software startup.

How does this change my Runkeeper experience?

From the end-user standpoint, not much has changed or will change. The Runkeeper brand, product, and team will carry on, and we’ll be able to move even faster. We’ll pursue the vision we’ve set out to pursue all along, with a partner that can bring many resources to bear that we couldn’t fathom having access to on our own. 

The Runkeeper you have always known and loved isn’t going anywhere, and you can expect more innovations to come that will help you to get out the door and stick with running forever.
