There is a known issue right now preventing users from selecting a photo from their phone gallery when sharing their activity. When going through the sharing flow, selecting the 'Photo' option and then 'Add from gallery' will redirect to the camera instead of to saved photos.
Good news is there's a workaround! To take a photo when you're tracking, instead of leaving the Runkeeper app and using your phone's camera application, just use the Runkeeper in-app camera by tapping on the camera icon at the bottom left of the tracking screen. Then when you share your activity, you'll be able to select one of those photos to share.
