Start Date: Monday July 25th
Issue: - some users have wrote in indicating they were not able to see the “next” button when manually entering activities into the Runkeeper website. I logged into my account (Mac Chrome) and was able to repro. I was still able to log activity manually by going to “Step 2” and “Step 3” buttons, rather than using the next button.
Browsers Affected: PC Chrome, Mac Firefox, Mac Chrome
Users Affected: PC devices with Chrome as their browser and Mac with Firefox.
Workaround: Go to "Step 2" and "Step 3" arrows above activity types. Put in the relevant information for your activity and you can still manually enter in activities via the web. Just remember to hit the "Save" button near the bottom of "Step 3" when you're done!
Additionally, you can upload a .gpx file in our single activity uploader by following these steps:
- Press the "Log +" button at the top of your account screen on Runkeeper.com.
- Select the activity type (running, walking, etc) from the list provided.
- Click on the Step 2 header.
- Click the Step 3 header.
- Scroll down and select the "Upload a Map" option near the bottom of the screen.
- Click on Step 2 and you will now be able to upload your activity file using the provided browser.
- Once you have uploaded the file, Select Step 3 and hit the Save button
You can also use our bulk importer feature by following these steps:
- Make sure you are using the most updated version of the Google Chrome browser.
- Press the "Log +" button at the top of your account screen on Runkeeper.com.
- Select the "Get Started" button.
- Click the square on the next screen.
- Select the .gpx file you would like to upload from your computer and hit "okay" in the pop-up file browser.
Picture: There should be a green next button in the bottom right corner, but this isn't appearing for some users.
