Windows Phone App

Here at RK HQ we have quite a small team, which means we don't have the resources to build out and support another platform at the moment. However, this doesn't mean that we will never build for the Windows Phone!

Leave your comments below to convince us and maybe we can revisit this feature in the future!

If RK is considering a WP-app, that would be great!
I will never switch back to Android again, but with Caledos, I miss the options I used to have on android, fi. making my own training schedule.
Please make us happy, make RK available in the Windows Store.

Shortly, I will move from an IPhone to Windows Phone and an WP Version of Runkeeper would be higly appreciated!

Add WP8 phone app pretty please! I'm a dedicated WP user and would be more likely to switch running apps than phone, sound reasonable? :)

I use my RK frequently (when there's no snow that is). I've recently moved from an iPhone to a WP8 and was looking for the RK app... While I realize you have a small staff, everything I've read indicates it should be relatively easy to build either a fresh app or a "wrapper" for RK. Looking forward to seeing that you've managed to support our RK habit with a WP app...

Good day! I used your app on Android but I had to change the WP. Please make an app for WP, in addition to using the tracker used and synchronized with the Activity of Alfa-bank, now can't do without this app. Thank you for your attention!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a Windows App! Very Important to me! Map My Run does not break down the miles/time/etc. It doesn't acknowledge accomplishments or do anything special. I MISS RunKeeper!!

Hi, I am looking at entering the Marathon challenge during April and find it hard to believe that you're Microsoft partner for the 'Band' but don't support Windows Phone. As a result I am unable to enter the competition using a Microsoft device, to win a Microsoft device. I note that you say you have a small team and this is why you are not developing a Windows Phone App but I also note that you are developing an Apple Watch app which kind of contradicts your argument to support a new platform.
Surely as a 'partner' you should be supporting the Windows Phone platform where other, non partners are already doing so? Just seems a bit strange to me that's all.
I do miss using RunKeeper and currently use Endomondo on the Windows Phone.

Could you please create an app for WindowsPhone?
Your service seems pretty nice compared with your competitors like Runtastic and Endmondo.
I love how is it sync seamlessly with the Microsoft Band and I would love an app for WindowsPhone as well.
I won't mind shelling out a few bucks for you app either.
Thanks in advance!

Windows Phone development has changed a lot since RK's first attempt. You need to look into it again. Especially if you are partnering with Microsoft on the band.

I would very much like a Windows Phone app as well. I hate being a troll, but you say you are a small team and cannot develop for another platform like WP, but have the resources to develop an Apple Watch app even before the watch is out? And by "overwhelming request"? As far as I can see (ok, it's been posted only two days ago, I know) that feature request has less votes than this one and no comment. Having an Apple Watch app will not bring more users (they will already have an iPhone for sure), but having a Windows Phone app might.

Any idea as to when you guys may be creating runkeeper for the Windows phone platform? I love the app and have it on my android but I plan to move to a Windows phone in the next year, and my son has a windows phone as well and he just started running with me. I understand the lack of personnel but it would be great if you guys could get this accomplished soon! Thanks for the great app!!

You need a Windows based App. Most of the feedback you are getting is by definition NOT from those with Windows based machines. I will keep my iPhone with a powerful Windows Laptop. However I just bought a very nice (light and powerful) Surface Pro 3 and I think many people are seeing this as the future. I get Runkeeper through Chrome but it would be better to have an App. You are missing this and the (of course) huge Windows/Android App market.

RK is a growing app here in Portugal, the reviews are good, I went to Windows Store for a download and... no RK?? I guess I'll stick with Runtastic. Makes no sense in 2015, two years ago ok, that made some sense, but not today, WP market share is growing every month, if RK wants to grow, must be on all 3 stores imho

How can you develop new app for Apple Watch (a new platform) and tell that you don't have resource for WPhone. BTW, there was a wonderful and working Runkeeper app for windows phone and no real feature was launched since. Hopefully, there are apps like Caledos but without WP app, it prevents me to buy a premium account

Hey guys !
Since this week end, it seems than now it's pretty much easier do generate a windows 10 app from an android or iOS app !
(or even a web page)

it's maybe time to think about developing one as windows 10 will probably be a huuuge thing when it's gonna be available for the public ?

cheers and have a wonderful day !

As someone who recently switched to Windows Phone from Android, I sure do miss my RunKeeper app. I would love love LOVE IT, if you would make a Windows phone app.

Microsoft recently just announced at Build 2015 that Android and iOS dev's will be able to take your current code and quickly recompile it to make a Windows Phone app. Please look into this. Heres a quick link for reference. http://tinyurl.com/o8ucqdt

I'm also moving to WP. It would be good if you could make universal Windows 10 app so we could also use it on PC.
