Support for pebble time round on IOS

There is great support for all pebble watches but something seems to be wrong with your integration with the Pebble time round watch. When can we expect support for that on ios?

Hey Samuel! We just released a new update, 6.5.1, which contains support for the Pebble Time Round. Just download that app version and you should be all set!

I have the latest update but the Pebble Time Round's activity display does not update unless the phone is unlocked and in the RunKeeper app. Obviously this renders the system effectively useless during runs.

I can't imagine what I could be doing wrong here, so is this a known issue?

I also have the latest update- but as mentioned below, the Pebble Display only updates while runkeepr is the active app on the phone, and the phone is unlocked.

As soon as I lock the phone and put it in a pocket/armband, the app stops updating time and distance, and the controls don't work.

I don't know if this is a failing of the runkeeper app, or something to do with the Bluetooth LE connection, but it makes runkeeper not a useful app anymore. (It was wonderful on my classic pebbles.)

Honestly, I haven't heard of any other apps that are better- but it seems like nobody is actively investigating this issue, either.

The problem exists on android as well and for other pebble wathches. After a while running it kind of looses connection and you get nothing on the watch. Runkeeper also takes realy long time to start up sometimes. Other apps such as strava seems much more stable.

I have the latest and my Pebble Time round does not update unless the RK app on my iPhone 6 plus is open and active. What is being done to alleviate this problem.

Having the same problem with the original Pebble and iOS 9: Runkeeper will not update activity on the Pebble unless the phone is unlocked. Even worse, when Runkeeper is open, it prevents the lock screen from activating (phone should automatically lock after 1 minute). Since I don't look at the phone (it is on an armband), it was several days before I knew this was happening.

I'm having the same issue with Pebble Time Round and iOS 9.3.2.

I have the same issue with iOS and Pebble Time Round. It doesn't update unless my phone is unlocked, which is never during a run. iOS, RK app and Pebble are all up-to-date.

Same thing for me... I have the latest update but the Pebble Time Round's activity display does not update unless the phone is unlocked and in the RunKeeper app...

It would be great to know if/when a fix might be released for this issue we're experiencing where the Pebble Runkeeper app freezes if the iPhone locks. I have never experienced a run without this issue. I'm on iOS 9.3.5 and Pebble Time Round with 4.0.1 firmware.

I too am having this problem - I think it's because, on the Pebble Round, Runkeeper is not a full app, but rather a "companion". Is there any news about when this might be changed?

I have the same problem also. Would love to hear an answer! Maybe I should switch to another running app?
